Went to Bambino with 3 of my friends for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. We were greeted with amazing service by Margo and she recommended great choices for it being our first time. The Lambrusco wine was amazing and the Frankie was 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Fried Castelvetrano Olives! Love em Pistachio Biscotti... the best thing on the menu and addictive Pizzas are very good. Albeit last 2 orders crust has been over done. Dont mind some char but the last 2 orders were too burnt over all. Large pepperoni has great flavor. Lil stinker is phenomenal Not a fan of canned mushrooms on the SMO I ordered. Some people love em but canned anything really brings quality down imo. Overall great pick for pizza

A stereotypical “millenial” pizza joint, Bambino’s is somewhere in between a New York slice and your everyday one. To begin, parking around here can be very difficult if you don’t know where to look as there are multiple lots to choose from, although the seemingly nearest is always taken up by cars. There was no wait on a Saturday afternoon. Once you’re in, Bambino’s is a calm and friendly environment to grab a bite at, featuring simple (and different) slices and sandwiches. You feel pretty welcome and at home in a nice layout with many tables and a bar top right across. The menu is diverse but one thing that sticks out right off the bat is the price. $4.50 for a plain slice? $22 for a footlong sub? Not to mention they tack on an automatic 20% service charge to every bill, which to their credit was mentioned about 3-4 times by the waitress. By the end of eating a $5 pepperoni slice we somehow paid nearly $7. Was it worth it? No. The pizza is decent, nowhere near worth the cost though. The dough is a bit too doughy and the cheese and sauce are alright. The slice is bigger than an average one so we can appreciate that. Bambino is a quaint little pizza bar with a cozy vibe. I’m a big fan of Loca d’Oro, which shares the same owner, so I came in with fairly high expectations. Price-wise, it’s similar to DeSano. We ordered the Tracksuit pizza and the Caesar salad based on recommendations. The pizza was just okay. The sauce was pretty bland, which made the whole pie feel a bit flat. The ricotta and hot honey combo was interesting, but the pepperoni was pretty sparse. Overall, I’d say DeSano has the upper hand when it comes to flavor and balance. The Caesar salad was decent. I liked the use of kale and the strong lemony note, which made it feel fresh. That said, it really lacked garlic flavor. There were a few anchovies on top as garnish, and I honestly wished more of that anchovy flavor made its way into the dressing. It needed more punch to stand up to the richness of the pizza. Overall, Bambino is a nice spot with a pleasant atmosphere, but you can get pizza at DeSano for similar price.

This pizza lovin' gal is SO happy!! I'm pretty picky about pizza since I grew up in NY. We could see why it made the top 10 Statesman recommended pizza spots! The sourdough crust is made from Barton Mills organic flour. They carefully source the best ingredients, like making the sourdough crust from organic Barton Mills flour. All staff are super friendly, and our waiter (Q) was very helpful in answering my questions regarding ingredients. In fact, the manager came over to advise me that one of my dietary restriction items was in the pizza we were ordering. However, he was also able to adjust that ingredient and still bring an amazing pizza! We ordered one slice of the cheese pizza. Then we got the garlic cheesy bread and a Little Stinker pie. The cheese pizza was very good, but I also think it would be best if we got the whole pie made fresh. Great crust! Light and airy, but crispy with a little chew to it - and the wonderful depth of flavor that sourdough brings to the party. The garlic cheesy bread was also tasty - homemade bread, with garlic butter, herbs, mozzarella and parm, and some EVOO. The Little Stinker was the winner here! OMG...SOOOOO good! It has lion's ma
